Views of Victoria is the redesign of "Cheryl's Unofficial Guide to Victoria." After trying to be too many things to too many people, Cheryl decided to pare it back and focus on just talking about her city with a bit more of a personal lens, whether searching for the perfect afternoon tea or looking back at the short-lived BC Experience attraction.
The Attractions Hits and Misses and Restaurant Guide remain -- despite Yelp and Urbanspoon and other crowd-sourced review spaces. The blog has been given a bigger focus and a new section has been added for more in-depth articles on the history, geography, architecture, and character of the region.
Views of Victoria is a labour of love, but it has been online in one form or another for about 15 years and isn't going anywhere.
